Amarnath Temple
Amarnath Cave Temple may be a Hindu shrine located in Jammu and Kashmir, India. The cave is situated at an altitude of three,888 m (12,756 ft), about 141 km (88 mi) from Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, reached through Pahalgam town. Registration Process:
- Registration is mandatory.
- Registration can be done via 446 designated bank branches
- These 446 bank branches of Punjab National Bank, Jammu, and Kashmir Bank & YES Bank in 37 states and UTs
Amarnath Yatra Route
There are two routes to the shrine, one which is understood because of the Pahalgam route and therefore the other being the shorter Baltal trek. The latter is about 14 km far away from the Baltal base camp.
