Narasimha Swamy Temple History

The mythical history of this temple indicates that the powerful lord Narasimha Jhira killed the devil Jarasura, who was a devoted follower of the god Shiva, after first destroying Hiranyakashipu.

After destroying the demon, Lord Narasimha took the form of water and began to flow in the direction of Lord Shiva.

For this reason, to receive the Lord’s blessings, people must work hard. Recently, plans were established to guarantee that there is sufficient power and ventilation. Everyone using the water outside the shrine must take a bath.

At the end of the cave are the shrines of two gods: Lord Narasimha and the demon Jalasura, who both worshipped the Shiva Linga.
