About Grishneshwar Jyotirling Temple, Velur (Ellora Caves)
Grishneshwar Jyotirling Temple in Velur (Ellora Caves) is the 12th and last of the Jyotirling temples of India. This is one of the smallest of the Jyotirling temples but is architecturally pleasing. The temple was destroyed in the 13th century CE and has been built and rebuilt a number of times. The present temple was built by Devi Ahilyabai Holkar in the 18th century CE.
