Union Tourism Ministry along with the State Governments has a great plan of Rs 312 crore for the upcoming Kumbh Mela 2025 in Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh. The project includes the development of the 100-year-old Corzon Bridge into a river museum, where a digital Kumbh Museum will be developed to showcase the religious heritage of the state.

Plans are also made to recognize important temples nearby and to beautify those religious places. As stated by the senior official, of the Union Tourism Ministry, other plans have been made to welcome the tourists to the city. Temporary tent cities, tent colonies, and thematic gates would be made at the entry points in the Triveni Sangam area, to attract domestic and international tourists. Plans have been made to establish tourist walks in the major tourist places.
Revamp of Major Temples in Prayagraj
The district officials have also planned to revamp three major temples of Prayagraj before Kumbh Mela. The temples will be recreated as the ashram mentioned in Ram Charit Manas and other religious texts. The three major temples included are the Nagvasuki temple of Daraganj, Takshak Tirth temple of Dariyabad, and Bharadwaj Ashram.
Online Puja Booking System
An online booking system will be developed for the pilgrims to make bookings for the puja online and can also hire boats for the ride to Sangam which is the confluence of Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati.
