As per the latest news Ujjain Mahakal Temple might be open for the devotees for the Darshan after 28^th June 2021.  As per the administration only vaccinated devotees are allowed to do the Darshan.

They have made it mandatory to show the vaccination certificate if one wants to do the Darshan. On top of that, all other guidelines related to Corona should be followed as well.

Please note that Darshan at Mahakal Temple is closed since 12^th April 2021 due to the corona epidemic and the increasing number of cases.

In the month of Shravan, around 5,000 devotees will be able to take darshan by pre-booking online.

The preparations of the ride are complete and common people will be able to take online darshan and darshan with the ticket of rupees 250 will not be possible this time. From today in the month of Shravan, the doors of Mahakal will be opened from 3:00 am in the morning.

Good News…As per the latest updates we received, the Mahakaleshwar Temple committee is going to allow Bhasma Aarti participation of the devotees after almost 12 months. Please note that there will be a reduced capacity by 50% to ensure safety. All other COVID 19 SOPs will be followed. Advance booking of Bhasma Aarti will be available on the official website.

1>    Either a Vaccine certificate or COVID 19 negative RT PCR (within 48 hours) is a must.

2>    Online advance Darshan booking is a must

3>    Temple timing from 6 AM to 8 PM there are 7 different slots during that time for Darshan

4>    Darshan inside Garbh Grih and Nandi hall is not allowed

5>    Normal devotees can not attend Bhasma Arti as well as Shayan Arti

6>    Selfies are not allowed

7>    There will be half capacity for free food / prasadam.
