Udupi Uchila Dasara 2022
Udupi Uchila Dasara will be celebrated at Sri Mahalaxmi Temple for the first time ever. Organizing by Dakshina Kannada Mogaveera sangha uchila, a 10 days long festival will be celebrated over there.
Udupi Uchila Dasara Dates
It will start from the first Navratri which is on the 26th of September till the 05th of October.
It will be inaugurated on 26 September at 9.05 am. From Kaup to Hejamady National Highway would be decorated beautifully with lightning and will be inaugurated on 24th September in the evening.
Udupi Uchila Dasara 2022 Events
Dr. G Shankar spend over 1.7 crores and opened an auditorium.
It is decided to organize a religious program every day at the temple premises and also arranged Anna Santharpane for devotees regularly for the next 10 days.
Prasad will be prepared by ISKCON for the next 10 days.
And lastly, on the 5th of October, A Grand Shobha yatra of the nine Goddesses will be held.
Tiger dance, tableaux, and various cultural teams will be performed by the colorful procession. Said the Shankar that they might expect more than 100 tableaus to participate in the Shobha yatra.
‘Nruthya Bharathi Kadri’ the most famous team will be performing classical and folk dance performances from 26th September to October 4.
A huge Pooja of Gangarathi will be conducted at the Kaup beach and a maha mangalarathi would be performed by the 1000 women at the Kaup sea shore.
The committee that has organized has requested all the devotees to come and visit in large numbers.
Event Timings
There will be a program of Bhajan every day which will be performed by different Bhajan Mandlis and their timings will be between 10 am and 4 pm.
Every day a Pooja called Kalpokta will be conducted at the temple from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm.
Pavan B Achar Manipal team will be performing ‘Shanthaveenavallari’ on September 30 between 4 and 5 pm.
