Sabarimala temple reopens from 2nd November

The Ayyappa temple located in Sabarimala Kerala will be opened for the Chithira Aattathirunal festival on 2nd November.

Devotees are permitted to the hilltop from 3rd November. Due to the flood situation in Kerala, the devotees who were unable to visit the shrine despite booking a slot during the monthly poojas of Thulam will also be permitted on the day.

Devotees who have booked slots in the queue system during the COVID-19 situation will need to carry a vaccination certificate or RT-PCR test.

Sabarimala Temple Timings

The temple will be closed by 9 p.m.

Hill shrine is reopened for two months long Mandalam-Makaravilakku pilgrimage season that begins on 15th November.

Devotees who have booked darshan through a virtual queue system will be permitted to enter the hill shrine from November 16.
