Sri Mallikarjun temple or Srisailam Temple is located in the town of Srisailam. The is located near the bank of river Krishna. Temple is dedicated to the deities of lord shiva and Goddess Parvati.
Lord Shiva is worshipped as Mallikarjun. The temple is referred to as one of the jyotirlingas among the 12 jyotirlingas of India and also one of the 18 Shakti Peethas of Goddess Parvati. It is one of the only 3 temples where both Jyotirlinga and Shakti Peetha is there in one temple.
