Statue of Unity is a Built-in dedication to the Indian freedom fighter and first home minister of India Sadar Vallabhbhai Patel. The Statue is 182 meters long and is said to be the Tallest Statue in the World. The Statue of Unity was inaugurated on the 31st of December, on the 143rd Birthday of Sadar Patel.
The cost of building the Statue of Unity was about Rs. 3,050 Crore which was all donated by the Gujarat Government and Was built by the L&T Company. It took around 3.6 years to complete the work.
