Now, no need to climb 6600 feet to complete your pilgrimage to Vaishno Devi and Bhairon Ghati. Make your journey from Bhawan to Bhairon easier by hoarding onto ropeway. Your one hour journey time will be reduced to just 3 minutes. 

The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has inaugurated ropeway services from Mata Vaishno Devi to Bhairon Nath Temple to make you journey easier from Maa Vaishno Devi Temple to Bhairon Nath Temple. The strenuous journey of 3.5 Km can be covered in 3 minutes.

The tickets for ropeway are available online from official website of Vaishno Devi. You can also buy tickets from the office of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board. The charges of tickets are 100 Rs for one way route. Ropeway is thus very comfortable, where a cable car could carry about 45 person per trip to Bhairo Nath and back. You can also carry your luggage along with you.

The ropeway facility has been started for both to-fro from Maa Vaishno Devi Temple to Bhairon Ghati and vice-versa. You can first reach to the Vaishno Devi Temple by 7 Km safe route by your own or can also reach through the facility of palki or horses. Then, you can reach to Bhairon Nath Temple conveniently through ropeway.

The trek to Bhairon Ghati from Vaishno Devi Temple is 3.5 Km, yet it is very severe and extreme. Not only the olds and children but even the adults would not be willing to take the risk to climb the Bhairon Ghati to reach the Bhairon Nath Temple as the way is too steep and dangerous. This is the reason why just few go to Bhairon Nath temple. And the one who would not go to the Bhairon Nath temple their pilgrimage would remain incomplete.

Bhairon Nath asked for forgiveness from Vaishno Devi. The Devi not only forgave him but blessed him that the pilgrimage to Vaishno Devi will not be accomplished without the visit to Bhairon Nath Temple.
