Rituals like Pitru Puja, bone immersion, mundane, and Shradh are performed at this ghat. Ganga is said to be the path of salvation.

Haridwar Kumbh Mela
Every 6 years, Kumbh Mela is organized in Haridwar. And Maha Kumbh is organized in twelve years. All the sages and saints of the world gather in the Kumbh Mela. All the sages and saints stay in their pandals for 3 to 4 months till the Kumbh Mela goes on. The royal bath has great importance in the Kumbh Mela.
