The fort is 11 km from the city and it is one of the famous tourist place in Hyderabad. The fort will surely impress you with the high techniques used for building the fort a long time before. Also the view of the surrounding city from the fort is stunning. Before the visit the fort you should know the timing and entry fees of the Golconda fort.

Here are the Timing and entry fees of the Golconda.

  • Timing of the Golconda: Monday to Sunday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
  • Entry fees of the Fort: Rs. 15 per person for the Indians and Rs. 200 for the Foreign tourist’s peoples.
    Rs. 25 for Still Camera.

You can also enjoy the Light and Sound Show at the Fort.

Timing of the sound and light show:  Nov to Feb – 6:30 pm and 7:45 pm.
March to Oct. – 7:00 pm and 8:15 pm.

Salar Jung Museum 

The Salar Jung Museum is an art museum located in Hyderabad near the bank of the river Musi. This museum is one of the three museums in India. Salar Jung Museum has a collection of around 43000 art objects, 9000 manuscripts & 47000 printed books. Museum promises the visitor a great experience during the visit. Ramoji Film Studio is one Largest film studios in India located in India. The studio has its name in the Guinness World Book of record as the largest studio complex in the world.
