Kanyakumari is the southernmost tip of our country and the meeting point of 3 Oceans. Furthermore, this beautiful city has plenty of tourist places. Bharat Mata Temple is one of them. Ramayan Mandir is inside the Bharat Mata Temple and it showcases the Valmiki Ramayan.
“Ramayan Darshan” or “Ramayan Mandir” is a pictorial exhibition of Valmiki Ramayan. It has 108 wooden panels. Each panel describes an important episode of the Ramayana in the form of oil paintings. In fact, one of the most impressive parts of Ramayan Darshan is a 27 ft. high granite statue of Lord Hanuman.
Bharat Mata Temple is spread over an area of 12000 square feet. It was built at the cost of 15 crores on the premises of Vivekanand Kendra. Outside the premises, there is a garden, fountain, and statues. However, the good thing about the temple is that it is open 7 days a week. So whenever you are visiting Kanyakumari, you cannot miss a chance to give this temple a stop.

To give this temple a good and peaceful visit, one hour’s time is enough. Photography and videography are not allowed inside the temple. There is a pure vegetarian restaurant inside the premises. Where you can enjoy delicious food after a serene visit to the temple.
They provide a free pick-up and drop facility to reach the Vivekanand Rock Memorial. It is around 0.7 km from Ramayan Mandir.
It is a good idea to visit the Bharat Mata Temple in the evening. Because there will be a lighting and fountain show every evening. If you are coming with family and kids, this show will definitely give you a great experience.
