Durga Pooja in Delhi – Dakshin Delhi Kalibari Temple

It is permitted to do Durga Pooja and Ram Leela in Delhi, restrictions are stricter in the wake of the Coronavirus Pandemic. Large gatherings have been prohibited. Hence, these events will be a near-dull affair as compared to other years.

Dakshin Delhi Kalibari Association is well known for arranging a traditional Durga Pooja Pandal in Delhi. Durga Pooja 2020 is scheduled to start on 22 Oct 2020. Please note that there are restrictions in place for in-person Darshan. Please follow all the rules and regulations to ensure Safe Darshan!

Durga Pooja Timing at Dakshin Delhi Kalibari Temple are:

07:00 AM to 01:30 PM

04:30 PM to 09:30 PM

However, keeping the current situation of the COVID 19 in mind, there are some instructions that must be followed when you visit Dakshin Delhi Kalibari Temple. This is to ensure everyone who is coming to seek the blessings of Maa Durga is safe from the virus spreading.

The instructions are:

  • Use a face mask all the time.
  • Maintain a distance of 6 feet.
  • Use hand sanitizer before entering the temple/pandal.
  • Download Arogya Setu app in your mobile.
  • Visitors to keep a check on their children.
  • Eatables are not permitted inside the pandal.
  • No offerings like fruit, sweets, flowers, etc.
  • Put the donation in the donation box only.

The committee has the right to stop the flow of public movement at any time if required. It’s a request for everyone to follow the instructions for your own safety.

Dakshin Kalibari Temple in Delhi is a Kali Mata Temple. Kali Mata is a form of Adi Shakti Mata Parvati. She is the first of the ten Mahavidyas who appear to protect religion against evil forces.
