Premanand Ji Maharaj – Biography
- Birth & Age
Premananji Ji was born as Aniruddh Kumar Pandey on 30th March 1969, in Akhri Village near Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
- Early Life
Premananji Ji was born in a religious Brahmin family. His father and grandfather were also a spiritual people who followed the path of devotion. From childhood, he was deeply connected with spirituality and used to chant mantras and read spiritual books.
At the age of 13, he left his home to follow the path of devotion and became a brahmachari.
- Spiritual Journey
After leaving home, he lived a simple and spiritual life along the bank of Ganga in Varanasi. He was first known as Anandswaroop Brahmachari and later as Swami Anandashram. Later, he moved to Vrindavan, where he had a deep spiritual experience and got guidance from saints.
He took diksha into the Radha Vallabh Sampradaya, a devotional tradition focused on Shri Radha Rani and Lord Krishna. Then he received a “Nij Mantra” from his Guru, Shri Hit Gaurangi Sharan Ji Maharaj and he was accepted as a Rashik Saint.
- Health Condition
Premanand Maharaj Ji has a kidney condition called Polycystic Kidney Disease. He goes for regular dialysis, but he continues his spiritual work with strength and dedication.
- Teachings

- Usually, tokens are distributed at the ashram in the morning for darshan.
- For Ekantik Vartalaap, you need to register at the ashram after 09:00 AM.
- Only a few people are allowed for Ekantik Vartalaap as due to Maharaj Ji’s health.
