History Of Radha-Rani’s Temple

All the peoples believe that the Radha-Rani temple is 5000 years old. King Vajranabh (Krishna’s great-grandson) constructed it, and Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s student was Narayan Bhatt. Raja Veer Singh, in 1675 AD, erected the temple. Later Narayan Bhatt, with the assistance of Raja Todarmal, one of Akbar’s governors did the current temple building. Amazingly, the temple is tied to popular mythology. This story is about Krishna and Radha’s father Nanda and Vrishbhanu were good friends. Nanda was head of Gokul and Vrishbhanu was of Rawal. However, fed up with Mathura’s king Kansa’s abuses, both of them and their village people relocated to Nandagon and Barsana.
