Salasar Balaji Story
The idol of Balaji was discovered by Ginthala Jats of Asota village in the Nagpur district of Rajasthan on Saturday of Shraavana Shukla Navami Samvat while ploughing the field. He showed this idol to his wife, who came to give him lunch.
She recognised the idol of Hanuman and worshipped it. This news spread all over the village. Meanwhile, Thakur of Asota had a dream of Balaji ordering him to send his idol to Salasar.
Mohandas Maharaj of Salasar had the same dream. He sent a message to Thakur of Asota. Thakur of Asota was surprised by how Mohandas Maharaj knew about his dream. He realised that this was due to the divine powers of Hanumanji.
Then, the idol of Balaji was shifted to Salasar and is still today worshipped there.
