Alaknanda Cruise Varanasi Details
The Alaknanda is a double-decker cruise that has a capacity of around 60 passengers on the lower deck.
Varanasi Alaknanda Cruise Service was inaugurated on 2nd September 2018 by the CM of Uttar Pradesh – Yogi Adityanath. Alaknanda – The Cruise at Varanasi is managed by Nordic Cruise Line – a start-up cruise line based in Kolkata. This cruise will take you on a religious ride of the holy Ganga river at Varanasi.
Alaknanda Cruise at Varanasi is 30 meters long and can accommodate 110 passengers in one go. Alaknanda Cruise is a double-decker cruise. The lower deck is air-conditioned with 60 seats. There are huge see-through windows in the air-conditioned deck. The upper deck is not air-conditioned. The sides are open at the Upper deck.
Both floors have bio-toilets. The seating facility is world-class on the Alaknanda Cruise. The Upper Deck also has a multi-cuisine restaurant. Passengers can enjoy a delightful meal while roaming the Holy River of Ganga at Varanasi. Varanasi Tourism is supporting such new experiments and tourists love this facility as well.
Alaknanda Cruise has the latest navigation system. Onboard GPS is available. Safety Jackets and Life Guards are there along with the cruise as well. The cruise also includes lifeboats. Wi-Fi is also available.
