Three Magnificent Chariots
There are three beautiful chariots in the temple. These are used to carry the Murti of Sri Raghavendra around the temple at 8:00 PM every day. One chariot is coated with sandalwood, one is coated with silver and the third is coated with gold. The golden chariot is used only on special occasions.
