Gandhi Jayanti 2022 – Journey to the places that depicts his life

GANDHI JAYANTI 2022: The event is celebrated in India to mark the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi. It is annually celebrated on the 2nd of October and is one of the three public holidays of India. Mahatma Gandhi was born in porbandar. 

Mohandas karamchand gandhi also known as a Freedom Fighter of India, who fought for India against Britishers when they were about to make India under their control. Mohandas karamchand Gandhi also known as “GANDHI BAPU” who was a Lawyer, Anti Colonial nationalism, and Political Ethicist who employed nonviolent resistance to lead the successful campaign for India’s independence from the British rule,and too later inspire movements for civil rights and freedom across the world.

Gandhi was a forerunner of non-violence and truth. As the Father of the Nation, he spearheaded India’s independence struggle alongside many other national leaders in opposition to British rule in India.

1 KIRTI MANDIR 

Gandhi’s birthplace was a three-storeyed haveli which has now been renamed. His father,uncle and grandfather has been prime minister to the jethwa Rajput rulers in the town. Visitors can see the concept of Mahatma Gandhi’s life through photos,books and possession of gandhi.

2 SABARMATI ASHRAM
