About Shri Khatu Shyam Ji Temple
Khatushyam is a manifestation of Barbarik, the grandson of Bhima and Hidimba. The temple is quite famous in Rajasthan and Haryana.
The temple is in the village known by the name of the temple as Khatu. Khatu village is in the Sikar district of Rajasthan. The temple holds religious importance for the Hindus.
Lord Krishna gave a boon to Barbarik, known as Shyam Ji. It was because of this boon he is still worshipped in Kalyuga. Khatu Shyam Ji’s birthday is on Kartik Sud Ekadashi every year.
