Pazhamudircholai Murugan Temple is one of the important six abodes of Murugan, the son of Lord Shiva and Parvati Mata. He is also known as Kartik Swamy. Located on a hill amidst lush green forests, Lord Murugan stays here with Valli and Devasena. A natural spring on the top of the hill is known as Noopur Ganga and is said to have curative properties.
