Maa Ambika Temple is located beside a waterfall in a small village called Udala near Mayurbhanj in Odisha.

This temple stands on the banks of the Dev River, amidst bountiful natural beauty. Maa Ambika Temple was built by the King of  Mayurbhanj in 1940. This is a relatively unknown place of worship because of its remote location.

People in Baripada consider her as  ‘The Living Goddess’ who showers her blessings on mankind.

There are four other waterfalls in the surrounding area, together they are known as Panchakunda. The last five kilometers of the drive from Baripada take you through a dense forest.

The temple is situated on a small hillock and one has to climb about a hundred steps to get to the temple.
