Shri Lakshmi Narayan Golden temple, Vellore Open From 5th July 2021.
Shri Lakshmi Narayan Golden temple in Sripuram, Vellore is popularly known as Golden Temple. The temple has been built by Shri Sakthi Amma of the Narayani Peedam. The temple complex, spread over 100 acres of land, was completed in 2007. There are numerous temples dedicated to various deities within the complex.
The whole area is beautifully landscaped with more than 20000 saplings planted here.
Creating a unique environment
Only organic materials are used here. Rainwater is harvested and all good environmental practices are followed. Within the temple, the premise is a manmade pond known as Sarva Theertham. Water from all of India’s holy rivers has been brought and stored here.
