Temples in Maharashtra Reopens from the first day of Navratri 7th Oct

On the occasion of Navratri, Maharashtra Chief Minister Officer stated that all the temples of Maharashtra will be reopened from the first day of Navratri (i.e. 7th October) following all the Covid protocols. Thus temples will be reopened for devotees for darshan. As stated by the Maharashtra government all the places of worship will be reopened from the first day of Navratri.

Other temples like Siddhivinayak Mahaganapati Temple, Aundha Nagnath Jyotirling Temple, Bhimashankar Jyotirling Temple, Saptashrungi, Pandharpur – Shri Vitthal Rukmani Temple, Akkalkot – Swami Samarth Temple, Nanded Gurudwara, Ashtavinayaka Temples, Bhadra Maruti Temple, Khuldabad, Siddhivinayak Temple, Siddhatek Taljai Hills – Three and a half Shakti Peethas, Trimbakeshwar Jyotirling Temple, Tulja Bhavani Temple, Tungareshwar Temple, Vajreshwari Temple, Varadvinayak, etc. will also be reopened.

Guidelines for temple opening in Maharashtra

  1. Mumba Devi Mandir

  • Mumba Devi Temple Is open as usual
  • Parsons aged above 65 years & below 10 years are not allowed.
  • Pregnant ladies are not allowed
  • Mask is compulsory
  • No prasad or offering allowed
  1. Shani Shingnapur – Newasa – Ahmednagar

  • Persons aged above 65 years & below 10 years are not allowed.
  • Mask is compulsory.
  1. Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga Temple

  • Temple timing: 6 Am To 8 pm
  • Persons aged above 65 years & below 10 years are not allowed.
  • Pregnant ladies are not allowed
  • Mask is compulsory
  • No prasad or offering allowed.
  • no need for online darshan booking as of now.
  1. Renuka Mata temple

  • Temple is open as usual
  • Persons aged above 65 years & below 10 years are not allowed
  • Pregnant ladies are not allowed
  • No prasad or offering allowed.
  • Mask is compulsory
  • Right now no need for online darshan booking
  1. Mumbai – Mahalaxmi Temple

  • Temple timing: 6 AM To 9 PM
  • Persons aged above 65 years & below 10 years are not allowed.
  • Pregnant ladies are not allowed
  • Mask  is compulsory
  • No prasad or offering allowed.
  1. Babulnath Temple, Mumbai

  • Temple is completely closed for devotees on Shivratri 
  • Temple timing: 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM
  • Persons aged above 65 years & Below 10 years are not allowed,
  • Pregnant Ladies are not allowed
  • Mask compulsory
  • No prasad or offering allowed.
  1. Nanded – Gurudwara Board Takhat Sachkhand Sri Hazur Abchalnagar Sahib

  • Gurudwara is open as usual(24 Hrs)
  • Mask not allowed on the premises because for security purposes
  • Kada Prasad is given to pilgrims
  1. SAPTASHRUNGI DEVI TEMPLE, VANI

  • Temple timing: 5 AM to 9 PM
  • Prasad giving & taking is allowed
  • Persons aged above 65 years & Below 10 years are not allowed,
  • Pregnant Ladies are not allowed
  • Mask is compulsory
  1. MAHAD GANPATI TEMPLE | VARAD VINAYAK

  • Temple is closed for tomorrow only
  • Prasad giving & taking are allowed
  • Persons aged above 65 years & below 10 years are not allowed,
  • Pregnant Ladies are not allowed
  • Mask is compulsory
  • Temple is open as per usual (24 hrs)
  • Darshan booking is not available in the temple 
  1. ASHTAVINAYAK MAYURESHWAR – MORGAN GANESHA TEMPLE CHINTAMANI GANPATI TEMPLE, THEUR

  • Temple is closed for tomorrow only
  • Persons aged above 65 years & below 10 years are not allowed,
  • Pregnant Ladies are not allowed
  • Mask is compulsory
  • Temple is open as usual (Timings: 6 AM to 10 PM)
  • The trustee will advise about Darshan’s booking later as he was too busy.
  1. GIRIJATMAJ ASHTAVINAYAK, LENYADRI GANPATI TEMPLE

  • Temple is closed for tomorrow only
  • Prasad giving & taking are allowed
  • Persons aged above 65 years & below 10 years are not allowed,
  • Pregnant Ladies are not allowed
  • Mask is compulsory
  • Temple is open as usual (Timings: 7:30 AM to 7 PM)
  • Currently no need for Advance darshan booking
  1. Parli Vaijnath

  • Temple timings: 5 AM to 10 PM
  • Persons aged above 65 years & Below 10 years are not allowed, 
  • Pregnant ladies are not allowed
  • Mask is compulsory
  • Offerings and Prasad are not allowed.
  1. Ganpati Phule

  • Temple is closed for tomorrow only
  • Offerings and Prasad are not allowed.
  • Persons aged above 65 years & below 10 years are not allowed, 
  • Pregnant Ladies are not allowed
  • Mask is compulsory
  • Temple is open as usual (Timings: Morning 7 AM to 12 PM & Afternoon: 1 PM to 8:30 PM)
