108 ft Tall Lord Hanuman Statue Unveiled by PM Narendra Modi

On the auspicious day of Hanuman Jayanti on Saturday, the 108 ft Lord Hanuman Statue was unveiled in Morbi, Gujarat by prime minister Narendra Modi. It took 3 years to build the statue in Morbi.

In his speech during the ceremony PM said that Hanuman Ji connects everyone with his devotion, with his service. Everyone gets inspiration from Hanuman Ji. Hanuman is that power and strength, who gave the right to respect all the forest-dwelling species and forest brothers. Thus, Hanuman Ji is an important thread of Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat.

Ram Katha is organized to connect the whole of India

PM said that Ram Katha is organized in different parts of the country. Whatever be the language and dialect during the story, the spirit of Ramkatha unites all, unites with devotion to God. It united different sections and different classes even in the difficult times of slavery and strengthened the united efforts for the national resolve for independence.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the idol of Hanuman is to be installed in all four directions of the country under the Char Dham project related to Lord Hanuman. This is the second idol of Hanuman in this episode, which is in the west direction. The idol has been installed at Bapu Kesavananda Ashram in Morbi.

First statue was installed in Shimla in 2010

The first statue of this series has been installed in the year 2010 in Shimla in the North. It has cost Rs 1.9 crore to build it. The Prime Minister’s Office has informed that the work of the third idol has started. The third idol is to be installed in the south at Rameswaram. This statue will be installed by Harish Chander Nanda Education and Charitable Trust.

Grand Ramkatha at Khokhradham

Ramkatha has been organized with the unveiling of the statue of Hanuman Ji at Khokhradham near Bela village of Morbi. This Katha started on Friday. On the first day of the Katha, a procession was taken out from Bela village with 3 elephants, 51 horse carriages, and a procession.

Sadhus and saints from all over the country reached Khokhradham

On Saturday, there will be a recitation of Ram Katha narrated by Kankeshwari Devi Ji in Khokhradham. After this, many devotional programs will be organized. Sadhus and saints from all over the country have reached Khokradham to participate in devotional programs.
