Kedarnath By Road

To go to Kedarnath by road, you have to book a cab or bus service, either privately operated or operated by GMOU Ltd. You must travel from Delhi to Dehradun in order to get to Kedarnath; you can do this by road, rail, or air. Travel to Haridwar from Dehradun. 

You may also get to Kedarnath from Delhi by taking a direct bus operated by the Uttarakhand Transport Corporation from Delhi Bus Stand Kashmiri Gate to Gaurikund. Continue your walk to Kedarnath from Gaurikund.

Kedarnath By Air(Helicopter)

You can book a seat in a helicopter to get to Kedarnath. Take a helicopter from Dehradun, Haridwar, or Rishikesh to go to Kedarnath.

From Dehradun:

Travel to the Shastradhara Helipad in Dehradun from Dehradun. Within 40 minutes, the helicopter will deliver you to your destination.

From Haridwar/Rishikesh: 

Take a cab from Haridwar/Rishikesh to Phata, which is around 200 kilometers and 195 km away from the two cities, respectively, if you intend to fly to Kedarnath from Rishikesh/Haridwar.

What To Expect On The Kedarnath Trek

The 18-kilometer Kedarnath Trek is a moderate to difficult walk. You will need a relatively good physical condition to do this trek. Every pilgrim must have their fitness level evaluated before setting out on a trip. Because it is important to see whether they are capable of doing so. The Kedarnath Trek from Gaurikund is scheduled to last from 4:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
