Mahakal Corridor Inauguration by PM Modi: The inauguration of the Mahakaleshwar Temple corridor will be done on October 11, by PM Modi at the Mahakaleshwar Temple. Around 200 idols have been made in the Mahakal corridor.

The corridor is decorated with unique artifacts and sculptures, which will take around 5 to 6 hours to roam.
About Mahakaleshwar Temple Corridor
Mahakaleshwar temple is all set to welcome tourists to explore the 920-meter-long corridor.
The grand entrance includes, Sapta Rishi, Navagraha Mandal, Tripurasura slaughter, Shiva enshrined in a lotus pool, 108 pillars marking Shiva’s Ananda Tandava, Shiva Stambh, huge statues of Nandi.
A night garden has also been built in the Mahakal corridor.
The religious corridor has 108 pillars. Which are equipped with beautiful lighting as well as state-of-the-art cameras.
Apart from this, an 800-meter mural wall has also been prepared in it. The corridor is made in two parts, two roads of 3 meters each have been made for pedestrians and 6 meters for e-cards.
At the same time, free e-cards will be available here for the elderly, children, and differently-abled. More than 1 lakh trees have been planted here to make the campus green.
Devotees will be able to scan and listen to the story of each mural painting.
After the expansion, the road in front of the Mahakal temple has become 70 meters wide. The area of Mahakal temple has also increased from 2.2 hectares to more than 20 hectares.
Amid the expansion work, Mahakal’s path is set to open for the devotees.
Works like Mahakal Path, beautification of Rudra Sagar, Vishram Dham, etc. have been completed in the first phase.
A giant gate of the Mahakal corridor has been built near Triveni Sangrahalaya.
