Shri Sheetla Mata Temple in Gurgaon is also known as Masani Mandir. This temple is dedicated to Sheetla Maa, a form of Maa Durga. Sheetla Mata is highly revered all over India and known to be the protector of deadly diseases. Sheetla Mata was the wife of Guru Dronacharya from the Mahabharata era. She had devoted herself to look after sick children. After she left her body, a temple was built for her. The present temple was built by Jat King Jawahar Singh in the 18th century.
