The nearest railway station to Pavagadh is Champaner, located at a distance of 1 km. But not many trains are scheduled to reach Champaner Railway Station.

By Bus

Pavagadh Ropeway Station is located on Pavagadh Hill near Maachi Haveli. The Mahakali temple is at a height of 800 meters. Many devotees have questions in mind about how many steps are in the Pavagadh Temple. The answer is 2000 Steps.
If you’re energetic enough, you can climb the 2,000 steps to the temple; otherwise, you can opt for the ropeway. To use the ropeway, head to Maachi, where the ropeway facility is available.
Buy the ticket for the ropeway and then reach near the temple. A cable car will drop you at a certain height. From there, you still need to climb 250 more steps to reach the temple. Pavagadh Ropeway has the capacity to carry 400 people in 1 hour.
Recently, a plan has been approved to increase the cable car capacity and extend it closer to the temple, so visitors will have to walk less.
Pilgrims who wish to seek blessings can either choose to climb 2000 steps or a height of approx 800 meters to reach the Kalika Mata Temple, Pavagadh, or they may just hop on the cable cars of Udan Khatola.
