त्वमेव सर्वं खल्विदं ब्रह्मासि।
त्वं साक्षादात्माऽसि नित्यम् ॥

om namaste ganapataye।

tvameva pratyaksam tattvamasi। vameva kevalam kartasi।

tvameva kevalam dhartasi। tvameva kevalam hartasi।

tvameva sarvam khalvidam brahmasi। tvam saksadatmasi nityam॥

अर्थ : हे! गणेशा आप को प्रणाम।

आप ही प्रत्यक्ष तत्त्व हो।

आप ही केवल कर्ता हो।

आप ही केवल धर्ता हो।

आप ही केवल हर्ता (दुख हरण करनेवाले) हो।

निश्चयपूर्वक आप ही इन सब रूपों में विराजमान ब्रह्म हो।

आप साक्षात नित्य आत्मस्वरूप हो।

Meaning: I am salutation to you lord Ganesha. You are the visible form of the ultimate truth. You alone create, support and destroy everything.

अर्थ : मैं ऋत (न्यायसंगत बात) कहता हूँ,

सत्य कहता हूँ।

I speak the truth.

अव त्वं माम्। अव वक्तारम्।
अव श्रोतारम्। अव दातारम्।
अव धातारम्। अवानूचानमव शिष्यम्।
अव पश्चात्तात्। अव पुरस्तात्।
अवोत्तरात्तात्। अव दक्षिणात्तात्।
अव चोर्ध्वात्तात्।
अवाधरात्तात्। सर्वतो मां पाहि पाहि समन्तात्॥

अर्थ : आप मेरी रक्षा करो, आप वक्ता (बोलने वाले) की रक्षा करो, आप श्रोता (सुनने वाली) की रक्षा करो, आप दाता की रक्षा करो, आप धाता की रक्षा करो, आप आचार्य की रक्षा करो, शिष्य की रक्षा करो। आप आगे से रक्षा करो, पीछे से रक्षा करो, पूर्व से रक्षा करो, पश्चिम से रक्षा करो, उत्तर दिशा से रक्षा करो, दक्षिण से रक्षा करो। आप ऊपर से रक्षा करो, नीचे से रक्षा करो। आप सब ओर से मेरी रक्षा करो।

Meaning: Lord Ganesha, protect me. Protect the speaker, listener and giver. 

Protect the supporter, the disciple and the student.

Protect me from behind, front, above and below.

Protect me from right and left. 

त्वं वाङ्मयस्त्वं चिन्मयः।
त्वमानन्दमयस्त्वं ब्रह्ममयः।
त्वं सच्चिदानन्दाऽद्वितीयोऽसि।
त्वं प्रत्यक्षं ब्रह्मासि।
त्वं ज्ञानमयो विज्ञानमयोऽसि॥

tvam vanmayastvam cinmayah।

tvamanandamayastvam brahmamayah।

tvam saccidananda dvitiyosi।

tvaṃ pratyaksam brahmasi।

tvam jnanamayo vijnanamayosi॥

अर्थ : आप वाङ्मय हो, आप चिन्मय हो, आप आनंदमय हो, आप ब्रह्ममय हो, आप सच्चिदानन्द और अद्वितीय (जिसके आलावा कोई दूसरा नहीं) हो। आप ज्ञानमय हो, विज्ञानमय हो। आप प्रत्यक्ष कर्ता हो आप ही ब्रह्म हो।

Meaning: You are composed of speech; you are consciousness.

You are made of bliss and the essence of the ultimate reality.

You are existence, consciousness and bliss; you are non-dual.

You are the ultimate reality and full of higher knowledge. 

सर्वं जगदिदं त्वत्तो जायते। सर्वं जगदिदं त्वत्तस्तिष्ठति।
सर्वं जगदिदं त्वयि लयमेष्यति। सर्वं जगदिदं त्वयि प्रत्येति।
त्वं भूमिरापोऽनलोऽनिलो नभः। त्वं चत्वारि वाक् पदानि॥

sarvam jagadidam tvatto jayate ।

sarvam jagadidam tvattastisthati।

sarvam jagadidam tvayi layamesyati।

sarvam jagadidam tvayi pratyeti।

tvam bhumiraponalonilo nabhah।

tvam catvari vak padani॥

अर्थ : सारा जगत आप से उत्पन्न होता है, सारा जगत आप से सुरक्षित रहता है, सारा जगत आप में लीन रहता है, सारा जगत आप ही में प्रतीत होता है । आप ही भूमि, जल, आकाश और अग्नि हो। आप चार प्रकार की वाणी हो (परा, पश्यन्ती, मध्यमा, वैखरी)।

Meaning: All this universe is born and exists because of you.

All this universe dissolves into you and returns to you. 

You are the earth, water, fire, air and sky. 

You the expressions.

त्वं गुणत्रयातीतः। त्वं अवस्थात्रयातीतः।
त्वं देहत्रयातीतः। त्वं कालत्रयातीतः।
त्वं मूलाधारस्थितोऽसि नित्यम्। त्वं शक्तित्रयात्मकः।
त्वां योगिनो ध्यायन्ति नित्यम्।
त्वं ब्रह्मा त्वं विष्णुस्त्वं रुद्रस्त्वमिन्द्रस्त्वमग्निस्त्वं वायुस्त्वं सूर्यस्त्वं चन्द्रमास्त्वं ब्रह्म भूर्भुवस्सुवरोम्॥

tvam gunatrayatitah। tvam avasthatrayatitah।

tvam dehatrayatitah। tvam kalatrayatitah।

tvam muladharasthitosi nityam। tvam saktitrayatmakah।

tvam yogino dhyayanti nityam।

tvam brahma tvam visnustvam rudrastvamindrastvamagnistvam vayustvam suryastvam candramastvam Brahma bhurbhuvassuvarom॥

अर्थ : तुम तीनों गुणों (सत्त्व, राज, तम) से परे हो। तुम तीनों अवस्थाओं (जागृत, स्वप्ना, सुषुप्ति) से परे हो। तुम तीनों देह (स्थूल, सूक्ष्म और कारण) से परे हो। तुम तीनों काल (भूत, वर्तमान, भविष्य) हो। तुम मूलाधार चक्र में स्थित हो। तीनों शक्तियों (संकल्प शक्ति, उत्साह शक्ति और ज्ञान शक्ति) में तुम ही हो। सभी योगी नित्य तुम्हारा ध्यान करते हैं। तुम ब्रह्मा, विष्णु, और रूद्र हो। तुम इंद्रा हो, तुम अग्नि हो, तुम वायु हो, तुम सूर्या हो, तुम्ही चंद्र हो। तुम ही ब्रह्म और तुम ही त्रिपाद भू, भुवः और स्वः हो।

Meaning: You are beyond the three Gunas (Sattva, Rajas and Tamas).

You are beyond the three states of being (walking, dreaming and sleeping).

You are beyond the three bodies (physical, subtle and causal body).

You are beyond the three aspects (past, present and future).

You are always established in the root chakra.

You embody the three energies. 

The yogis meditate on you constantly.

You are the Brahma, Vishnu and Rudra.

You are the Indra, Agni and Vayu.

You are the Surya and Chandra.

You are the ultimate reality, the Earth, Atmosphere and the Heavens. 

गणादिं पूर्वमुच्चार्य वर्णादींस्तदनन्तरम्।
अनुस्वारः परतरः। अर्धेन्दुलसितम्।
तारेण ऋद्धम् । एतत्तव मनुस्वरूपम्।
गकारः पूर्वरूपम्। अकारो मध्यरूपम्।
अनुस्वारश्चान्त्यरूपम्। बिन्दुरुत्तररूपम्।
नादः सन्धानम्। संहिता संधिः।
सैषा गणेशविद्या। गणक ऋषिः।
निचृद्गायत्रीच्छन्दः। गणपतिर्देवता।
ॐ गं गणपतये नमः॥

anusvarah paratarah। ardhendulasitam।

tarena rddham। etattava manusvarupam।

gakarah purvaruupam। akaro madhyamarupam।

anusvarascantyarupam। binduruttararupam।

nadah sandhanam। samhita sandhih।

saisa ganesavidya। ganaka rsih।

nicrdgayatricchandah। ganapatirdevata।

om gam ganapataye namah॥

अर्थ : ‘गण’ के प्रथम शब्दांश (ग) का उच्चारण करने के बाद प्रथम वर्ण (अ) का उच्चारण करें, उसके बाद अनुस्वार (म्) का उच्चारण करें (जिससे ‘गम्’ बनता है), इसके बाद इसे अधचन्द्र से सुशोभित करें (गँ) और तार से इसे बाधाएँ (इस प्रकार “ॐ गँ” बनता है)। ग-कार प्रथम रूप है, अ-कार मध्य रूप है और अनुस्वार अनिम रूप है। बिंदु उत्तर (ऊपरी) रूप है । अंत में नाद का संधान (योग) होता है, ये सभी आपस में मिल जाते हैं (“ॐ गँ” ये रूप बनता है )। यह गणेश विद्या है, गणक इसके ऋषि हैं, निचृद-गायत्री छन्द है, गणपति देवता है, ॐ गँ गणपतये नमः।

Meaning: Recite the syllables starting with ‘Gana’, then recite the letters.

The ‘anusvaraḥ’ is supreme.

It is shaped like a half-moon and is completed by the dot (Bindu).

O Human, This is your form, the sound ‘ga’ is the initial form.

The sound ‘a’ is the middle form and the sound ‘anusvāraḥ’ is the final form.

The bindu (dot) is the supreme form, The nada is the union and the samhita (combination) is the joining.

This is the knowledge of Ganesha. Ganaka is the sage.

It is composed in the meter of the Gayatri (mantra).

Ganesha is the deity. Om, I bow to Ganesha.

एकदन्ताय विद्महे वक्रतुण्डाय धीमहि।
तन्नो दन्तिः प्रचोदयात्॥

ekadantaya vidmahe vakratundaya dhimahi।

tanno dantih pracodayat॥

अर्थ : हम एकदन्त को जानते हैं; वक्रतुण्ड का ध्यान करते हैं। वह दन्ती (हाथीदाँत वाला) हमें जागृत करे।

Meaning: We meditate on the one-tushked (Ganesha).

We contemplate the curved trunked Ganesha.

May that tushked inspire and enlighten us.

एकदन्तं चतुर्हस्तं पाशमङ्कुशधारिणम्। रदं च वरदं हस्तैर्बिभ्राणं मूषकध्वजम्॥
रक्तं लम्बोदरं शूर्पकर्णकं रक्तवाससम्। रक्तगन्धानुलिप्ताङ्गं रक्तपुष्पैस्सुपूजितम्॥
भक्तानुकम्पिनं देवं जगत्कारणमच्युतम्।
आविर्भूतं च सृष्ट्यादौ प्रकृतेः पुरुषात्परम्।
एवं ध्यायति यो नित्यं स योगी योगिनां वरः॥

ekadantam caturhastam pasamankusadharinam। radam ca varadam hastairbibhranam musakadhvajam॥

raktam lambodaram surpakarnam raktavasasam। raktagandhanuliptangam raktapuspaih supujitam।

bhaktanukampinam devam jagatkaranamacyutam॥

avirbhutam ca srstyadau prakrteh purusatparam॥

evam dhyayati yo nityam sa yogi yoginam varah॥ 

अर्थ : भगवान गणेश एकदन्त चार भुजाओं वाले है जिसमे वह पाश, अंकुश, दन्त, वर मुद्रा रखते हैं। उनके ध्वज पर मूषक हैं। वे लाल रंग से तेजस्वी हैं, लम्बोदर हैं, वे लाल वस्त्र धारी हैं। रक्त चन्दन का लेप लगा है। वे लाल पुष्प धारण करते हैं। भक्तो के लिये अनुकम्पा रखते हैं, जगत में सभी जगह व्याप्त हैं। श्रृष्टि के रचियता हैं। वह प्रकृति और पुरुष से भी पहले आविर्भूत हुए हैं और अच्युत हैं। जो इनका ध्यान सच्चे हृदय से करते हैं वे महा योगी हैं।

Meaning: He has one tusk and four hands.

He holds a nose and a goad. 

He carries a bell and grants boons with his hands.

He has a mouse as a vehicle.

He is red and has a large belly and ears.

He is clothed in a red and is smeared with the scent of sandalwood.

He is worshipped with red flowers.

He is a compassionate god towards his devotees. 

He is the unchanging cause of the universe and manifests as the supreme being beyond nature at the beginning of the creation. 

One who meditates on him in this way always. 

He is the best among yogis. 

नमो व्रातपतये। नमो गणपतये। नमः प्रमथपतये।
नमस्तेऽस्तु लम्बोदरायैकदन्ताय विघ्ननाशिने शिवसुताय वरदमूर्तये नमः॥

namo vratapataye। namo ganapataye। namah pramathapataye।

namastestu lambodarayaikadantaya vighnanasine sivasutaya varadamurtaye namah॥

अर्थ : व्रातपति, गणपति को प्रणाम, प्रथम पति को प्रणाम, एकदंत को प्रणाम, विध्नविनाशक, लम्बोदर, शिवतनय श्री वरद मूर्ती को प्रणाम।

Meaning: Salutations to the Lord of the groups.

Salutation to Ganesha and the Lord of the Ganas. 

Salutations to the one with a large belly (Lambodara), a single tusk (Ekadanta) and the remover of the obstacles.

Salutations to the son of Shiva.

Salutation to the one who grants boons. 

गणनायकाय गणदैवताय गणाध्यक्षाय धीमहि।
गुणशरीराय गुणमण्डिताय गुणेशानाय धीमहि।
गुणातीताय गुणाधीशाय गुणप्रविष्टाय धीमहि।
एकदंताय वक्रतुण्डाय गौरीतनयाय धीमहि।

gananayakaya ganadaivataya ganadhyaksaya dhimahi।

gunasarīrāya gunamanditaya gunesanaya dhimahi।

gunatitaya gunadhisaya gunpravistaya dhimahi।

ekadamtaya vakratundaya gauritanayaya dhimahi॥

अर्थ : हम श्री गणेश का ध्यान करते हैं, जो गणों के नायक, देवता, तथा अध्यक्ष हैं,

जो गुणों के विग्रह हैं, गुणों द्वारा मण्डित हैं, गुणों के अधीश हैं, और गुणों के परे हैं।

Meaning: We meditate on the leader and deity of the Ganas.

We contemplate the overseer of the Ganas.

We meditate on the one with a body of qualities.

We meditate on the one adorned with qualities.

We contemplate the lord of qualities. 

We meditate on the one who is beyond qualities.

We contemplate the lord of qualities.

We meditate on the one who is embodied by qualities.

We meditate on the one with a single tusk.

We contemplate the one with a curved trunk. 

We meditate on the son of Gauri.

त्वं गुणत्रयातीतः।
त्वमवस्थात्रयातीतः।
त्वं कालत्रयातीतः।
त्वं देहत्रयातीतः।

tvam gunatrayatttah।

tvamavasthatrayatitah।

tvam kalatrayatitah।

tvam dehatrayatitah।

अर्थ : आप तीनों गुणों के (सत्त्व, रजस् ,तमस्), तीनों अवस्थाओं के (जाग्रत, निद्रामय, स्वप्नमय),

तीनों काल के (भूत, भविष्य, वर्तमान), तीनों शरीरों के (स्थूल, सूक्ष्म, कारण) परे हैं।

Meaning: You are beyond the three Gunas (Satva, Rajas and Tamas).

You are beyond the three states of existence (walking, dreaming and sleeping) and the three steps of time (past, present and future).

You are beyond the three bodies (Physical, Sutle and Casual bodies).

गणानां त्वा गणपतिं हवामहे कविं कवीनामुपमश्रवस्तमम्।
ज्येष्ठराजं ब्रह्मणां ब्रह्मणस्पत आ नः शृण्वन्नूतिभिः सीद सादनम्॥

gananam tva ganapatim havamahe kavim kavinamupamasravastamam।

jyestharajam brahmanam brahmanaspata a nah srnvannutibhih sida sadanam॥

अर्थ : हे गणों के स्वामी हम आप का हवन करते है। क्रान्तदर्शियों (कवियों)

में श्रेष्ठ कवि और सभीसे तेजस्वी है। मंत्रों के राजा, मंत्रों मे अग्रीम है।

हम आपका आवाहन करते हैं। हमारी स्तुतियों को सुनते हुए पालनकर्ता

के रुप में आप इस सदन में आसीन हों।

Meaning: O Ganesha, the leader of the Ganas, we invoke you. You are the greatest among the poets and the source of the wisdom.

You are the eldest king amongst the wise and the lord of all that is sacred.

May you hear our prayers and mantras.

May you reside in our hearts. 

त्वं प्रत्यक्षं ब्रह्मासि। त्वं ज्ञानमयो विज्ञानमयोऽसि॥
