Chardham Yatra Online Registration 2024

In Uttarakhand, registering for Char Dham is required for anyone planning to visit the temples of Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, Yamunotri, or Hemkund Sahib.

This is a complete guide on the online registration process for Chardham & Hemkund sahib.

These details are based on the SOP published by the Uttarakhand Government on September 17, 2021, based on the court decision taken on September 16, 2021, on the opening of the Chardham Yatra post-lockdown.  Please note that this might change at any time, so keep looking for the latest updates.

This SOP applies to all the visitors planning for Chardham Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri.

Chardham Registration Process

1. Go to https://registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in
2. Get Char Dham’s information and the Registration and Verification Process
3. Click on Login/Register

To create a new account, enter your full name and mobile number. Select Tour Operator/Individual/Family, Enter and confirm your password, then click on the Sign-Up button.

If you have already signed up earlier, sign in from the same page by entering two mobile numbers, Password and Captcha and clicking on the Sign In button.

• After signing in, you will see the dashboard with your name on the left.

Now register for the tour by clicking on Registration for Tour and clicking on View/Modify to view and modify an existing tour.

• Manage tour information and add new tours by clicking on Manage Tour Info. The Plan Your Trip page will open.

• Click on the Registration for Tour. The Plan Your Trip Page will open

• Click on the Add New Tour button to create a tour or register for the tour. e.g., select Tour Type and select Tour Duration (Date of Entering and Leaving the State) in Uttarakhand from the date picker.
• Enter No. of Tourists* (If 5 family members are coming to Uttarakhand, then the user has to enter 5 numbers in that field), Mode of Travel for Dham (After entering or leaving Uttarakhand State)* (By Road, By Helicopter, By Walking) Select the specific date of the tour in front of the destination.
• Click on the Save button.
• Now, you will see that the tour has been created.
• Add pilgrims to that tour. So, click on Manage Tour Info to add pilgrims.
• You will see the registration form for tourists now. Your destination will be displayed automatically. Here, the user has to enter details about who is going to travel to Uttarakhand.
• Fields are as per below

1. Enter your full name
2. Enter Age
3. Select Gender
4. Mobile number
5. Email Address
6. Enter Adhar Card Number
7. Select Country
8. Address
9. City Name
10. DistrictName
11. Select State
12. Emergency Contact Person, Mobile Number and Relation (Who is not travelling with you)

Select if you are from below profession Tick Option (I am a Doctor)

• Mode of Travel for Dham (After entering Uttarakhand State): Suppose you are selecting a private cart, then enter the driver’s name and vehicle number.

• Mode of Travel Options (Here options will be hidden or shown based on your selected travel option during the Tour creation.)

6. By Walking

• Select a medical condition (If Any)

1. Cardiac
2. Asthma
3. Diabetes
4. Other

Upload passport-size photo

• Select Identity proof and Upload that document

1. Adhar Card
2. Pan card
3. Passport
4. Voter ID

If you want to add more tourists, then you can click on Save and Add More, or else you can click on the Finish button to complete the registration.

• Then after the user has to download the Yatra Registration Letter a unique QR code will be displayed on that PDF, which the user can see on the List of Pilgrims/Tourist screen.

• That tourist/pilgrim has to keep during the Uttarakhand yatra. And also an SMS will be sent to the tourist from the system along with the unique ID.
• Tourist has to keep that “Yatra Registration Letter” or that received SMS on their mobile number during the Uttarakhand tour.
• Before the check-in of that destination, Yatrimitra will check that SMS or Yatra Registration Letter (QR code) for verification.
• Pilgrims will also get a Yatri Certificate in their login after verification at Chardham.

To download the Registration Letter or Yatri Darshan Certificate

• Either Click on the Manage Pilgrims/Tourist to download any of the Registration Letters or Yatri Darshan Certificate.
• Click on the Download Registration Letter & Certificate in the Dashboard to download any of the Registration Letters or Yatri Darshan Certificate.

Checkpoints of Chardham Yatra E Pass

To control the crowd and ensure the capacity, screening, E-pass, and COVID-19 negative reports will be checked at the following checkpoints

• Enroute to Badrinath Dham – Gochar, Gwaldam, Pandukeshwar, Panduvakhal & Mohankhal
• Enroute to Kedarnath Dham – Sirobgadh, Chirbatiya & Sonprayag
• Enroute to Gangotri & Yamunotri – Syansu, Nagun Barrier, Dhanotri & Damta
