Kashi Vishwanath Temple is one of the most famous Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva.
It is located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The temple stands on the western bank of the holy river Ganga.
Kashi Vishwanath is one of the twelve Jyotirlinga. The main deity is known by the name Vishwanatha or Vishveshvara. Varanasi city is also called Kashi, and hence the temple is popularly called Kashi Vishwanath Temple.

 Ganga Aarti Timings

Ganga aarti is the most magnificent event in Varanasi. You should not miss it. The aarti is performed by a group of priests at Dashashwamedh Ghat.  Dashashwamedh Ghat is just 500 Meters from Kashi Temple.
A special type of aarti is performed on sacred occasions, religious festivals, and on Tuesdays.
The Aarti is performed by a priest. These are dressed up in the same cloth, dhoti, and kurta with a tightly bound Kurta and Kurta with a long towel. They make the preparation of Ganga Aarti.

By Rail
Varanasi city station lies only 2 Km near Kashi Vishwanath temple.
The railway junction is around 6 Km away from the temple.
Varanasi railway station is well-linked to all the cities of India.
From the exit gate of the railway station, cycles, rickshaws, and auto-rickshaws can be easily hired.

By Air
The Lal Bahadur Shastri Airport in Babatpur is located near Kashi. From Lal Bahadur Shastri Airport, the temple of Kashi Vishwanath is about 20-25 kilometers away.
Tourists can hire a taxi, cab, or any other mode of public transport to reach the temple.

By Road
