1. Dwarka

Dwarka is also known as Krishna Karmbhoomi & was the first stop of Shri Krishna. The journey of Lord Krishna’s arrival in Gujarat starts from Mathura. Birthplace Mathura and Balbhoomi have been given to Gokul-Vrindavan. The Dwarka is a place where Lord Krishna established his kingdom. The Dwarkadhish temple there is also dedicated to Lord Krishna and reflects his reign as king for decades. 

To defeat the constant violence of Jarasangha the 28-year-old Shri Krishna left Mathura and came to the west coast in Dwarka Nagari and settled there and lived with the Yadavas. Here he has spent 80 years of his life.

2. Bet Dwarka 

Bet Dwarka is a small island situated on the off coast of the Dwarka region. How To Reach Bet Dwarka

After reaching Dwarka, the Okha jetty is around 30 km it takes around 1 hr to reach the Okha jetty from the Dwarka. And from the Dwarka, many private Vehicles are easily available to Okha jetty. From the Okha jetty, you can ferry the boat to reach the Bet Dwarka.

3. Madhavpur

Madhavpur is located near Porbandar. It is well-known for Krishna’s marriage with Rukmini. Eventually, this wedding place of Krishna & Rukmini was known as Madhavpur. Rukmini the princess of Vidarbha, wanted to marry Krishna, but her brother was against it. So, Krishna took her & married in Madhavpur. The Madhavpur Ghed temple honours their holy union and every year the Madhavpur Mela is held to celebrate this divine love story.

5. Tulsishyam

Tulsishyam is located near Junagadh. Lord Krishna & Rukmini once stopped there to worship Lord Shiva while visiting Somnath. On the way, they came to a Ness named Atali in the forest of Gir. Here they have taken the rest. While resting, Rukminiji got into a family talk and climbed a nearby hill. The Lord Krishna went to the hill to save her.

6. Prabhas Patan

In today’s world, Prabhas Patan is Somnath. Lord Krishna had a special relationship with it. Lord Krishna came to worship at Somnath temple with his family. When the Yadavas turned away, Lord Krishna became very distressed.

But when Yadavas started to fight among themselves instead of worshipping shiva, Shri Krishna had to kill them with their hands. Prabhas Patan is a divine place of spiritual significance, where devotees come to remember Krishna’s divine journey.

7. Triveni Ghat

The last stage of Krishna’s Karmabhoomi journey was at Triveni Ghat. It is the place in Dwarka, where all the rivers – Hiran, Kapila and Saraswati get merged. Here, in a state of agony, Pipal was sitting with his right foot on his left leg, leaning on his body. Then a hunter named Zara understood the deer and shot an arrow. This arrow hit Lord Krishna’s right foot and this is where Lord Krishna’s Nirvana took place.

On the seventh day after Nirvana, Arjuna performed the Spiritual last rites of Lord Krishna here. At the Triveni Ghat, Devotees take a holy dip in the water to purify their souls & bring peace.
