- Shri Digambar Jain Lal Mandir in Delhi, located opposite Red Fort is Delhi’s oldest and most visited Jain temple. It was built in 1656 and has been renovated and enlarged over the years. There are a number of shrines in this complex and the principal shrine is dedicated to Lord Mahavira, the 24th Jain Tirthankara. The temple also has a book store where a wide range of books on Jainism is available, apart from curios and souvenirs.
Unique Bird Hospital
Shri Digambar Jain Lal Mandir houses a bird hospital within the complex. This amazing facility is one of a kind and has been in operation since 1957. More than 15000 birds are treated every year.
