Ugadi Mahotsavam will be celebrated from 30th March to 3rd April. Devotees will be allowed for Sparsha Darshan of Lord Mallikarjuna from 24th March to 30th March.
Elaborate arrangements are coming their way in the Srisailam temple for Ugadi. Alankara Darshan of Lord Mallikarjuna will be allowed from the second day of Mahotsavam on 31st March. More than 5 lakh devotees are expected to visit the temple for darshan. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the padayatra in which devotees undertake arduous walk passes through Nallamalla forests and see Bramaranbhika of the Srisailam temples as their daughter & Lord Malikarjuna Swamy as their son-in-law. Necessary arrangements are made & facilities will be provided for the padayatra devotees at the temple and in the Nallamala forest. During this day people undertake new ventures as this day is considered auspicious.
