Kollur Mookambika Temple is located at Kollur In Byndoor Taluka of Udupi district in the state of Karnataka. Its topography can be stated as being situated in the foothills of Kodachadri hills, on the southern bank of the Souparnika River. It is believed to be created by sage Parashurama as it is situated in the land between Gokarna and Kanyakumari.
