Where is Kartik Swami Temple Located? 

Around 40 km from Rudraprayag, the 200-year-old Kartik Swami Temple is located over there and it also involves a 3km trek from Kanakchauri Village in Uttarakhand.

Importance of Kartik Swami Temple

Places Near Kartik Swami Temple

1 Ukhimath

Ukhimath is the home of Lord Kedarnath and Madhyamaheshwar and it is situated at an elevation of 1317 mts above sea level in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand state. The distance from the temple is 50kms and it will take 2hrs to reach.

 2 Sari Village

The village is enclosed by oak and rhododendron trees and resides calmly in the lap of the Himalayas. Located at an elevation of 2000 mts. The distance from this is around 60kms and it will take 2hrs 30 min to reach.

3 Deoria Tal

During the early morning on a clear day, Devariya Tal blesses the tourists with miraculous reflections of Chaukhamba peaks on its crystal clear water,Devariyatal is an emerald lake perched at a height of 2438 mts above sea level. Distance is 64km and it will take 3hrs to reach.

How To Reach Kartik Swami Temple

By Road

The best way to reach over there is you can book a taxi from Haridwar straight to Rudraprayag and also it is well connected to the motorable road you can easily reach by car or taxi.

By Train

Kartik Swami Temple is not connected to any of the railway stations and the nearest from all temples are Rishikesh and Haridwar which are approximately 205 and 247 km away from the temple.

By Air

It is not even connected to any of the airports and the nearest airport to this temple is Jolly Grant airport which is 220m away from the temple.
